Who we are

Forward Maintenance Solutions is an industrial maintenance contractor based in Plaster Rock, New Brunswick, Canada. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Forward Maintenance Solutions, and "the site" means this website.

What we collect

We only receive personal information that you choose to send us. That is normally what you enter into the enquiry form on our contact page:

• Your name and company
• Your email address and phone number
• The site location and shutdown or target window for your project
• The type of work you need and any scope details you provide

You may also send us the same kind of information by emailing or calling us directly.

How the enquiry form works

The form on our contact page is delivered by FormSubmit, a third-party form service. When you press send, the details you entered are transmitted to FormSubmit, which forwards them to us by email. FormSubmit processes the submission on our behalf and is subject to its own privacy policy and terms.

We do not run a database on this website, so nothing you type is stored here. Once the message reaches us it sits in our email system like any other email.

The form also includes a hidden anti-spam field and a simple arithmetic check. Neither collects information about you.

How we use it

We use what you send to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, plan and carry out work you engage us for, and keep records of projects and correspondence. We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for advertising.

Who else is involved

We may share your information with our own staff and subcontractors where it is needed to quote or deliver your work, and with our professional advisors, insurers or authorities where the law requires it.

This site also loads a small number of resources from third parties, which means your browser contacts them and they can see your IP address:

• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used on this site
• Google Maps, which provides the map embedded on our contact page
• FormSubmit, which delivers enquiries from our contact form to our inbox

Those services are operated by Google and are governed by Google's own privacy policy.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set its own cookies and does not run analytics or advertising tracking. Third-party embeds such as the map on our contact page may set their own cookies when they load. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and project correspondence for as long as we need them for the work, for our business records, and for any period required by tax, insurance or legal obligations. After that we delete or securely dispose of them.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive personal information through the website.
